Five years l I A J I A J S T U E S T U Eater, and a very competent, I joined Chappells of Bond Street Piano Workshop for several years then moved on to Monington and Weston Piano Factory at Masterpiece Works in Kentish Town, North London.

By this time, Monington and Weston had stopped making pianos and now specialised in making and recovering keys for pianos, organs and harpsichords for a worldwide market.

Three years later I decided to go it alone and have subsequently worked as an independent restorer for the public and trade, subcontracting for all of the top London Piano Houses over the past 30 years. e.g. Steinway & Sons, Bluthner, Bosendorfer, Bechstein, Welmar, Harrods Ltd and Heckscher and Co Ltd.

Sadly, all of the aforementioned London workshops have now closed and I now work alone in my Hertfordshire workshop.
